Opening of two regional workshops on Project citizen and Foundations of Democracy

Mr. Joseph Taylor, the Director of the Arab Civic Education Network Program in Washington, opened yesterday at Le Meridien two workshops held by the Jordanian Center for Civic Education Studies in coordination with the Center for Civic Education in California.  The first workshop was entitled "Project Citizen" name, and the second was entitled "Foundations of Democracy".

 

Teachers and supervisors from the ministries of education in Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Sultanate of Oman, and Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the two workshops.
